Event Videographers in Dubai

A three-minute highlight film that captures the whole day, a same-day edit played at the reception, a full-length ceremony recording, or a professionally produced corporate video. Dubai’s videographers work in cinematic and documentary styles. We introduce filmmakers whose showreels we have reviewed.

What to expect

Decide what you want to watch afterwards. A highlight film is the piece most couples and brands share; a full-length edit preserves every speech and ritual; a same-day edit turns the morning’s footage into a film shown that evening. Each needs different crew and editing time, so the brief drives the quote.

Audio is the quiet half of video. Clear sound for vows, speeches and keynotes needs lavalier or direct feeds from the venue’s system. Ask how the videographer captures audio and whether the venue’s technicians need to be involved.

Drones give Dubai weddings and launches their signature skyline shots, but they need permits and a licensed operator. Good videographers either hold the licence or work with a partner who does, and will tell you when a location simply will not allow it.

How pricing works

What moves the number

No two quotes are built the same way. These are the four things that decide yours, and the reason our quotes itemise them.

01

Hours of coverage

Photographers and videographers price by the hour or by package. A full wedding day costs more than a two-hour launch for obvious reasons.

02

Team size

A second shooter, an assistant or a multi-camera video crew add to the cost and to what is captured. Ask what each person does.

03

Deliverables

The number of edited images, album design, highlight film length and raw footage all change the price. Compare like with like.

04

Usage rights

Personal use is normally included. Commercial and advertising use is licensed separately, and the terms belong in the quote.

Questions to ask before you book
  1. Can we see two or three full galleries or films from similar events, not just highlights?
  2. How many hours are included, and what is the overtime rate?
  3. Is a second shooter or a second camera included?
  4. How many edited images or what film length will we receive, and when?
  5. Do we receive full-resolution files or raw footage?
  6. Who holds the permits for public locations and drones?

Questions we hear most

How long does editing take?

A same-day edit is delivered on the night; highlight films commonly take several weeks; full-length edits longer. Every quote we send includes the delivery schedule.

Can we have the raw footage?

Some videographers include it, others license it separately or decline. Ask before you book if it matters to you; our quotes state the policy.

Is drone filming allowed in Dubai?

Only with the correct permits and a licensed operator, and never in restricted zones. Experienced videographers know which venues permit it and arrange the paperwork.
