Vendor Terms of Service

1. Agreement & Eligibility

These Vendor Terms of Service ("Vendor Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Vendor") and eventifydubai.com ("eventifydubai", "we", "us", "our") governing your listing and activity as an event service provider on our Platform.

By completing vendor registration, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age
• Have authority to bind the business entity you are registering
• Hold all required UAE trade licences and permits for your service category
• Are registered with Dubai Economy (or the relevant emirate's commercial authority) and any applicable sector-specific regulators
• Have read and agree to both these Vendor Terms and our general Terms of Use

2. Listing Requirements

2.1 Accuracy

All listing content — including service descriptions, pricing, portfolio images, and availability — must be accurate, current, and not misleading. You must update your listing within 5 business days of any material change to your services or pricing.

2.2 Content Standards

Listing photos and descriptions must be original or properly licensed. Images must accurately represent your services. Use of stock photography to misrepresent your actual work quality is prohibited.

2.3 Pricing Display

All prices must be displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED). Where pricing is variable, clearly indicate "from AED [amount]" or "packages from AED [amount]". Hidden fees or charges not disclosed in the listing are prohibited.

2.4 Service Categories

Listings must be placed in the correct service category. Cross-listing a business in irrelevant categories to increase exposure is a violation of these terms.

2.5 Prohibited Listing Content

The following are not permitted in vendor listings:

• False testimonials or fabricated reviews
• Competitor brand names used to divert search traffic
• Pricing that does not reflect actual packages offered
• Images of events not arranged or serviced by your business
• Contact information directing clients to bypass the Platform

3. Subscription Plans & Fees

eventifydubai offers three vendor membership tiers:

Full plan details are available on our Vendor Pricing page. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. All fees are exclusive of 5% UAE VAT where applicable.

3.1 Free Trial

New vendors may be eligible for a 14-day free trial at the Starter level. Trials are subject to verification of a valid UAE trade licence. No credit card is required for the trial period.

3.2 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced, except where required by UAE consumer protection law. If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us within 14 days.

4. Vendor Obligations

4.1 Service Quality

You agree to provide services that meet the standard described in your listing and agreed with the client. Failure to deliver contracted services is a serious breach of these terms and may result in account suspension.

4.2 Response Time

Vendors must respond to quote requests within 48 hours on business days (Sunday–Thursday in the UAE). Consistent failure to respond will negatively affect your search ranking and may result in account review.

4.3 Licences & Permits

You must maintain all required UAE trade licences, permits, and professional certifications throughout your active listing period. You must immediately notify us if any licence lapses or is revoked.

4.4 Insurance

We strongly recommend all vendors maintain appropriate public liability insurance for their service category. For venue operators, this is a UAE regulatory requirement. eventifydubai is not liable for any uninsured incidents at events.

4.Professional Conduct

All communications with clients through the Platform must be professional, accurate, and respectful. Harassment, discriminatory language, or aggressive sales tactics are grounds for immediate account termination.

4.6 Cancellations

Vendor-initiated cancellations of confirmed bookings must be communicated to the client as soon as possible. Repeated cancellations will result in ranking penalties and may trigger account review. Last-minute cancellations (within 14 days of an event) without valid cause may result in account suspension.

5. Bookings & Quote Requests

5.1 Responding to Quotes

When you receive a quote request, you must provide an honest, itemised quote reflecting your actual pricing. Quote responses must clearly state what is and is not included in the quoted price.

5.2 Confirming Bookings

A booking is confirmed when both the vendor and client have agreed to scope, price, date, and terms, and any required deposit has been exchanged. eventifydubai may provide confirmation tools but is not a party to the service contract.

5.3 Off-Platform Payments

Where eventifydubai facilitates payment processing, all transactions for booked events must be conducted through the Platform. Deliberately moving transactions off-platform to avoid processing is a breach of these terms.

6. Reviews & Ratings

Client reviews are fundamental to trust on our Platform. Vendors may not:

• Solicit fake or incentivised positive reviews
• Offer discounts or gifts in exchange for specific review content
• Threaten or intimidate clients who leave negative reviews
• Attempt to have legitimate negative reviews removed without valid factual grounds

Vendors may respond publicly to reviews using the Platform's review response feature. Responses must be professional and factual. Vendors may flag reviews they believe violate our Trust & Safety policy for investigation.

7. Platform Service Fees

In addition to subscription fees, eventifydubai may charge a platform service fee on bookings facilitated through the Platform. Current fee rates are:

• Starter: 8% platform fee on confirmed bookings
• Professional: 5% platform fee on confirmed bookings
• Premium: 3% platform fee on confirmed bookings

These fees are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active vendors. Fee rates will always be visible in your vendor dashboard before any transaction is confirmed.

8. Verification Process

eventifydubai operates a verification programme to build client trust. Verified vendors display a badge on their listing. To become verified, vendors must submit:

• Valid UAE trade licence (current)
• Emirates ID of the business owner or authorised representative
• Proof of business address (utility bill or tenancy agreement)
• At minimum 3 genuine client references
• Portfolio of recent work (minimum events in the past 12 months)

Verification decisions are at the sole discretion of eventifydubai. We reserve the right to withdraw verified status if a vendor no longer meets our standards or if any submitted documentation is found to be inaccurate.

9. Suspension & Removal of Listings

eventifydubai reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove vendor listings in the following circumstances:

• Repeated failure to respond to quote requests
• Multiple client complaints upheld following investigation
• Discovery of false or misleading listing information
• Lapse of required UAE trade licences
• Fraudulent activity including fake reviews or payment manipulation
• Breach of these Vendor Terms or our general Terms of Use
• Non-payment of subscription fees after a 14-day grace period

In most cases, we will provide a warning and reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue before suspension. In cases of fraud or serious misconduct, immediate suspension without notice may occur.

10. Limitation of Liability

eventifydubai's liability to any vendor is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 3 months immediately preceding any claim. eventifydubai is not liable for: (a) loss of business or anticipated profits; (b) client cancellations or non-payment; (c) reputational harm arising from client reviews; (d) interruptions to Platform service; or (e) changes to search rankings or listing visibility.

11. Intellectual Property

By uploading content (photos, descriptions, videos) to your listing, you grant eventifydubai a non-exclusive licence to display and promote your listing content on the Platform and in marketing materials (e.g., social media, newsletters). You retain ownership of all uploaded content. You warrant that you own or have rights to all content you upload.

12. Termination

You may terminate your vendor account at any time by providing 30 days written notice via your account dashboard or our contact form. Prepaid subscription fees for unused periods are non-refundable. Upon termination, your listing will be de-listed and client access to your profile will be removed.

13. Governing Law

These Vendor Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with our general Terms of Use dispute resolution process, with jurisdiction in the courts of Dubai.

For vendor-related enquiries, account support, or to dispute a suspension decision, please use our contact form. Dedicated vendor support is available Sunday–Thursday, 9am–6pm UAE time. Premium plan subscribers have access to priority support with a dedicated account manager.
